First time for me to pet a Kola bear, feed a Kangaroo, and ride a camel. One thing I have in common with a Kola - eat and sleep all day long!!!

Pizza!!!

Tonight my friends surprised me because it seem like they bring their own kitchen to my house to cook!!!. They brought all the ingredients to make a great pizza - even a heavy mixer for their sourdough crust. This time we traded ideas - I showed them how to make Thai food and they show me how to make pizza from scratch. Thanks guys.

I went to Chicago to meet my sister. My sister came for business trip so it was a great excuse to see a town I always wanted to see. I spent 5 days witha a lot of time to myself while my sister worked - this is unusual for me because I always like to hang out with someone. I was totally a tourist - touring around the city for 3 days. I liked Chicago except for the very hot weather.

This studio is especially bright with large south and west facing windows. With a jacuzzi tub and a steam shower it is a perfect place to end a tiring day.

This is my favorite room because I lived here for 2 years while my husband finished the choir loft we now live in. This is where we fell in love and got to know each other 24/7!

I love my place!!! Originally it was the choir loft - my husband tells me I won't age at all here and for sure will go to heaven if I ever die. It has a beautiful 16 foot high old wood ceiling with skylights, wood floors, fireplace, a large marble steam shower, a gourmet kitchen, and a belltower and rooftop garden. It has great views of the fog rolling in over the hills - especially when it is sunny on this side of the hills.!!!!

Mexican Night

Tequila, margaritas, mint juleps with fresh mint from the rooftop garden - what a way to go!!



Mexican night is quite different from Thai food, but it is spicy and good. For sure the Mexican drinks are a big hit - fortunately we didn't drink it all.

International Night

Bruschetta, Pesto Chicken, Karaoke, Red Curry, Chicken kabob, Thai fired rice, Salmon paste with cracker - it was a great mix of food. Thanks to all and expecially to my friend Koba who brought the dessert:)

1st Floor

This floor has four bedrooms and baths with a large kitchen, bar, and living room. With 12 foot ceilings and heated natural stone floors it is a great place to stay.

Bacon Fried Rice

Lunch dishes should be quick and easy, so I decided fried rice was perfect for today's lunch.
Using the amzing favor of bacon in a tradition fried rice mix made an interesting dish.

Yosemite

It was a nice day for road trip to Yosemite. Although, we just went there for one night but it was such a quality of time. We did two hikes to Mirrow Lake which was easy going but up to the top of Vernal Fall that was challenge. After hiking this time I found myself is strong woman:). Sightseeing around the park is good thing for rest to another destination and interesting things to see.

July 4th 2010

It was very nice day. We ride a bicycle around the city. From Jazz festival along Fillmore St where Gary had a fresh oyster for breakfast to watched Tango Show at union square then stop by farmer market on the way back that how Gary got an oranges boobs then walking to doles park to join with the concert. To bad can't really see the fire work because it was too fogy but had a good time just hang out with friend.
