Yum Naem Tod!




Yum Naem Tod is an appetizer dish in Thailand which made from cooked Thai rice mixed with the curry paste and herbs then shape it into a ball shape then deep fried . It is kind of salad which give a crunchy texture because of its fried then you break the rice into piece and seasoning with fish sauce , lime juice , chilies flake and a bit sugar then mixed with veggies. Yummy this is my happy Sunday !

Kanom Tom!

Many Thai dessert made from coconut and especially for this dessert , both stuffing made from shredded  coconut meat cook in the slow heat with palm sugar until it thick then let its cooling down then shape it as a ball shape. Before boil the coconut ball in the boil water it had to coated with glutenous rice flour then cook it until it float then roll it on the young shredded coconut meat. It is so good and it has been always my love dessert ever.

Kanom Tauy!

Tauy means bowl, especial this dessert serve in a special bowl. Although it is not a lot of ingredients to make this dessert but there is a lot of step which need to beware to make its successful .You can find this dessert everywhere in Thailand and it is not very sweet taste. I made from coconut milk and have two layer- bottom kind of sweet a bit and top layer have a bit salty taste which make them both goes well together.

Gyoza Night !

Thanks all everyone for the great team tonight! From difference part of the world but great mixed and they got a pride. Making a Gyoza is not easy - start with wrap it into a good Gyoza shape then have to cook- have to be patients, take some times and have a good team but come to eating- it takes only minutes for each to finish 5 of those delicious handmade gyoza. Forgot to mentioned someone ate 15:)))

My first time teaching a sausage and this time 3 ladies came to learn how to make this dish for bachelorette party which was very fun evening. they are lovely and Terrance was only guy tonight to help to squeeze it through ))

Kanom Thai !!!


Every time when I come back home, I always eat this- Kanom Tuay, so today I made those delicious and hard to find in US. My goal to amke Kanom Tauy but end up I got to make all of those 3 other kinds because they base almost the same. It was a fun day and full:)).\
First start with, master Kanom Tuay or literally means dessert in the bowl which bring the icon of the dessert. The texture like custard- sweet on inside and creamy-salty on the top.The rest are Kanom Kuay, Kanom Fak Tong and Kanom Tum which they are base from coconut mix with difference fruit then call the in difference name according to the fruit and the method.  
I will be teaching this dessert soon , so if you are interested to know how to make and how it tasted likes then join me in April .

Cooking Class Feb 27, 2016!

It was a long  class and special treat before I take off to Thailand for a month of March. We made a delicious meals with a fun friendly people. As always , at the end of the class - taking and laughing  , having a nice conversation after meals was the way to end my fun evening class.

Awesome Group!

It was a great evening with Claire's family. Alex and Claire came to the class with other people for theier first time and this time, i set up a private class for them with their family- i mean lovely beautiful mom and nice father. Thanks again for coming back to join me cooking all delicious meals and I can't wait for the next one.

Choux Aux Chantilly



It was my favor thing to bake -Choux aux chantilly is a simple and delicious  french dessert!
The dough is contain only butter, water , flour and egg which make the dough very light instead of using raising agent . There are a lot of dessert which using a same pastry dough or this pate a choux, for example -cream puff, eclair and st. honore cake. The filling can be a pastry cream with any favors or Chantilly cream as I mad with mind today .

Private Cookign Class With Sarah & Brain!
